Everything vs Zero

Zero is an AI-native CRM with a lead database and agents that do the admin. Everything is the same ambition with every channel and the whole deal in it.

The short version

Zero is the closest product to Everything in what it is trying to be: not a database you type into, but a system that finds, closes and grows customers, with agents doing the admin.

Zero has the lead database. 350 million contacts, filtered by fit and signals, enriched on the way in. That is a real advantage for a team building lists from scratch.

Everything has the channels and the rest of the deal. WhatsApp, iMessage, X, Reddit, Slack and website chat beside email and LinkedIn. A native recorder. Contracts, invoices, tickets, plans, docs. And the agent is not metered.

If sourcing from a database is the job, Zero. If the job is every conversation and everything after the reply, Everything.

Where the two came from

Zero

Zero was founded in 2024 in Helsinki by two of the team that scaled Smartly.io, and raised a $2.7M pre-seed and a $10.3M seed. It is a complete CRM of record with a 350M-contact lead database, enrichment, email and LinkedIn sequences, a dialer, reporting, and agents that keep the record current. Meeting notes come from notetakers it integrates with; its own recorder is coming.

Everything

Everything comes from The Tool Company, built by a founder who spent years as a BDR watching half of every deal happen outside the system of record. It started as a signing tool, grew a record layer, then an inbox for every channel, then the rest. The bet is one team owning the whole revenue motion as a single product, so the seams disappear.

Finding people

Zero
A lead database of 350M+ contacts and 20M+ companies, filtered by fit and by signals like job changes, funding and hiring. Enrichment with verified emails and phones. 500 credits a seat a month included.
Everything
LinkedIn people, company, job and post search through your own session, Reddit prospecting in the comments, company search by firmographics, and email and phone lookups verified before they are charged for. No database of our own.
Zero

Verdict. Zero. A database with signals beats a search box for building lists.

Prospect
LinkedIn search through your session.

Channels

Zero
Gmail, Google Calendar and Outlook sync. LinkedIn through a Chrome extension. Slack.
Everything
Email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, iMessage and SMS, X, Reddit, Slack and website chat in one inbox.
Everything

Verdict. Everything.

The channel lanes
One inbox for every channel.

Outreach

Zero
Email and LinkedIn sequences, and a dialer from the record.
Everything
Sequences across email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, texts, X, Reddit and calls, with branching, A/B variants and per-person personalization. A dialer with parallel dialing, recording and reports.
Everything

Verdict. Everything, on channels in a sequence. The dialers are comparable.

Adding a step
Every channel the workspace has connected.

Meetings

Zero
Meeting notes and transcripts from Fireflies, Circleback, Fathom, Granola and Notion AI become deal updates and drafts. Zero’s own recorder is coming soon.
Everything
A native recorder in the desktop app today. Transcript, summary, action items on the deal. Booking links.
Everything

Verdict. Everything today. Zero if you already pay for a notetaker you like.

Recordings
Recorded natively, summarised on the deal.

After the yes

Zero
Product usage, billing, support tickets and conversations on the customer record through PostHog, Stripe, Plain, Pylon, Linear, Front and Intercom.
Everything
Product usage from PostHog and billing from Stripe on the record, and the support desk, the contracts, the invoices, the plans and the docs are in the product itself.
Everything

Verdict. Everything. Zero shows you the ticket from another tool. Everything is where the ticket lives.

Contracts
Send, sign and track, then generate the invoice.

AI and agents

Zero
Agents on triggers and schedules that research, update records, draft messages and act through MCP. Agent context about the business. Chat over the records. An MCP server, a REST API and webhooks. Anything that reaches a customer waits for approval.
Everything
Claude in the workspace with every channel and document in front of it. A daily brief, skills, routines, workflows on a canvas, an MCP server. Runs locally through the desktop app. Not metered.
Even

Verdict. Even. Two serious agent layers. Zero’s guardrails are explicit; Everything’s agent sees more.

The daily brief
Written from real conversations.

Pricing

Zero

Everything

Zero
