Meetings

Meetings that write themselves up

The calendar, booking links, and recordings that become a transcript, a summary and action items on the right record.

Meetings

The notes nobody writes are the ones that matter three weeks later. A recorded meeting turns into a transcript, a summary and a set of action items, sitting on the deal it belongs to. The calendar, the booking links and the recordings are one page.

The calendar

  • Day, week and month. Team calendars overlaid. A second time zone down the side.
  • Events with attendees and a Meet link. Attendees resolve to people in Records.
  • Agenda: the same events as a list, with what was last said to each attendee.
  • Attachments ride the invite.

Booking links

A meeting type is a page with your real free time. A length, a set of hours, a buffer, the calendar it lands on. Share the link and a booked meeting lands on your calendar and the person who booked it lands in Records.

Meeting types
Each one is a shareable booking page.

Recordings

  1. 1Record with the desktop app. It captures the screen and the audio natively and uploads when the meeting ends.
  2. 2The transcript arrives with speaker labels you can correct. Corrections flow into the summary.
  3. 3The summary follows your workspace template: discussed, decided, next.
  4. 4Action items can be ticked off or pushed to To-do. Everything is attached to the attendees.

Where it lands

A recording sits on every attendee’s record under Recordings, and on the deal through the company. The Brief on that deal reads it, so a week later the summary says what was agreed on the call without anyone typing it.

Around meetings

The parts of the workspace this one works with.

Connect your calendar

Meetings, availability and booking links all read from it.

Connect Google Calendar and the Meetings page fills in, availability starts working, booking links can be shared, and the brief knows what your afternoon looks like.

The Meetings tabs

The desktop app

Mac and Windows. Meeting recording, dictation, iMessage, native notifications, files on this computer, and the assistant running locally.

A small app for your Mac or PC that connects it to your workspace. It records your meetings, sends iMessages as you, reads files on your Desktop, and runs the assistant on your own machine.

Recordings land in Media

Media

Screen recordings with auto-zoom, screenshots, share links that track views, and transcripts.

Built-in screen recording for the things you would otherwise type: a demo, a walkthrough, a video for a prospect. Press Option-V anywhere, record, and the link is on your clipboard when you stop.

Questions

Does it join the call as a bot?+

No. The desktop app records what you see and hear on your own machine, so there is no extra participant in the meeting.

Which meeting tools work?+

Any of them. Zoom, Meet, Teams, a phone call on speaker. It records the screen and the audio, not a specific app.

Can I edit the summary?+

Yes. Edit it by hand, or correct a speaker label and let it regenerate.

Outlook calendar?+

Connect Outlook under Integrations and its calendar comes with the mailbox.

Can two teammates share availability on one booking link?+

Yes. A meeting type can read several calendars and offer the slots where all of them are free.

Do bookings need the other person to have an account?+

No. The booking page is public. They pick a time and get the invite.

Does it need to be open?+

It lives in the menu bar or tray. Open once and it stays.

What does it upload?+

Recordings you start, and messages you send. It never uploads files unless the assistant reads one at your request.

Is the assistant faster locally?+

It is present when the browser is closed. A routine at seven in the morning runs at seven.

Is there a length limit?+

Long recordings are fine. Transcription for very long ones arrives when it is ready rather than immediately.

Can I download the file?+

Yes, from the recording’s page.
