To-do

A queue that hits zero

Follow-ups, reminders, and every manual sequence step, with the context they came from.

To-do

A task links to the person, company or deal it is about, so a follow-up carries its whole history. Working the list is working your sequences: every manual step lands here when it comes due, with the script attached.

The list

  • Types: an email to write, a call to make, a LinkedIn touch, a custom task. Filter by type with one click.
  • Due, assigned to, related to, company, source. Group by any of them.
  • A table or a board. Saved views for the queues you work daily.
  • Recurring rules create repeating tasks.

Types and the board
Emails, custom tasks, and the same list as a board.

Execute

Execute opens a task with the record, the thread and the script beside it, and moves to the next one when you are done. Catch me up sits in the same panel, so what was last said and what they are waiting on is in front of you before you write.

Tasks on a record
From a person’s header, straight to the tasks about them.

Queues

Select a set of tasks and run them back to back. A queue of twenty calls is a morning; the dialer takes it from here. A queue of follow-up emails is a coffee.

Tasks that write themselves

From the daily brief
Every to-do in the brief is a task here, and the brief keeps it current: reworded, completed when it is done. On by default.
From call notes
Action items from recorded meetings and phone calls become tasks for the teammate they were given to, with a due date when one was said. Off by default.

Both are per person, in Settings, Tasks. Promises the customer made stay in the call notes, not on your list.

Through the assistant

The assistant is a good triager. What is due today. Reschedule everything from last week. Create follow-ups for everyone I met at the conference.

Around to-do

The parts of the workspace this one works with.

Catch me up

Where you left off, what they are waiting on, what the open task is for, and the next step.

The Brief is the history. Catch me up is this week. It answers four questions and nothing else: what did I last say, what are they waiting on, what is the open task about, what happens next.

Catch me up

The daily brief

What is overdue, who is waiting, what has gone quiet, and what is on the calendar. Written before you open it.

Home is a page you read, not a grid you scan. It opens with today already written: what is overdue, who is waiting on you, which deals have gone quiet, and what the calendar is about to do to your afternoon. It is written from real conversations across every channel, not from fields somebody edited.

Sequences

Multi-step outreach across every channel, with delays, conditions and branches. Build once, enroll many.

A sequence is a series of steps that runs per enrolled person. Email on day zero, LinkedIn connect on day two, and if they accept, a LinkedIn message. If they do not, a follow-up email instead. Build it once. Enroll a person, a list, or everything a filter matches.

Questions

Do completed tasks count for anything?+

Completions count toward activity metrics in Reports and Goals.

Can a task have no record?+

Yes. A custom task can stand alone. Most are better attached to the thing they are about.

Where do the other tasks come from?+

The daily brief, and call notes if you switch it on. Settings, Tasks.

Where do sequence tasks come from?+

A manual step in a sequence creates a task when it comes due, for the person it is about, with the step’s copy or script.

Why is it empty on a new record?+

Nothing has happened yet. It appears after the first conversation.

Can I ask for it in chat?+

Catch me up on Lana in the assistant gives the same four answers.

When is it written?+

On your first open of the day, or at a set time when the desktop app is running. Recalibrate rewrites it any time.

Can I change what it pays attention to?+

Leave a note. Ignore the renewals this week, or focus on the DTEX deal, and the next version follows it.

Will it fill my task list with noise?+

It only removes or reschedules tasks it made, and a task you edited is never deleted. Or switch it off in Settings, Tasks.

Is Overview gone?+

No. Overview is still the widget dashboard. Home is the read; Overview is the grid.

How many sequences can a person be in?+

One at a time by default, so two reps never write on the same day. An admin can allow more.

Can a step send from a different mailbox?+

Yes. A sequence pins a mailbox or a sender group.

What happens at the weekend?+

Steps respect working days and the timezone of the person when it is known.

Connect your email, then open a person. Most of the product shows up on that one page once the mail is in.
